Patients eligible for PCIPatients
The patients age >18 yearsPatients must meet MS definition, which means that each patient must meet at least of listed requirements of MSA waist circumference of inches or more for women measured across the bellyA blood pressure of 13085 mm Hg or higherA triglyceride level mgdl or aboveA fasting blood glucose level greater than mgdl but less than 126 andorA high density lipoprotein level HDL less than mgdl men or under mgdl women.
Patients eligible for PCIPatients must receive at least one bare metal stentThe patient has stable or unstable angina with clinical evidence of ischemia ECG, exercise test, etc. andorThe patient is able and willing to conform to the requirements of the study including repeat angiographic followup at months, and voluntarily signs an Informed Consent.
