To Hours Intro to Herbs provides basic knowledge and introduction to the history, philosophy and uses of plants. This course explores topics of complementary herbal interests while serving as prerequisite to advanced herbal studies. Classes are offered in workshop format and open to the public. This course models the only national standard available for herbal therapy by providing complete body of knowledge on medicinal plants and their uses. Instructor supervision and feedback are ongoing. Native plant study in faraway land or in ones local environment enables the student to achieve focused research on particular area of interest.

The format for this course involves field study with an approved HerbalistInstructor and thesis project. This course explores topics of complementary herbal interests while serving as prerequisite to advanced herbal studies. Classes are offered in workshop format and open to the public. Topics include Botanical Names, Chemistry of Plant , Herbal Remedies, Dosage Methods, Constitutional Analysis, and Physiology of Herbal Therapeutics.
